When it comes to nostalgic kids TV I'm not sure that anything will beat good old Pipkins for me... but who remembers FingerBobs?
I found this clip and I must say that I actually find it quite disturbing..... no wonder I turned out the way I did if this was what I was watching!
We clearly needed the Wonder Pets to save the day....
Oooh, thanks for the trip down memory lane! I loved Fingerbobs as a small child, and loved it just as much all over again watching it now!
ReplyDeleteMust show it to my children - the youngest in particular loves making things and it would be interesting to see what she makes of something so clearly 70s as Fingerbobs! Hehe!
Oh that takes me back. I loved Fingerbobs, found it fascinating. How dated it looks now! My daughter watches Wonderpets. Now I have the theme tune stuck in my head!

ReplyDeleteI was in a queue to board a flight last year and the guy in front of me was humming the Wonder Pets tune.... you have to love it...
Nothing like that crazy tortoise shell to bring back childhood memories!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Fingerbobs too! However, my mum admitted to me years later that the guy from Fingerbobs freaked her out a little. She thought he looked a bit creepy! She never liked Jeffrey from Rainbow much either! LOL
