The theme for this week's Gallery is... A photo I am proud of.
I'm cheating a little bit here cause I have already featured this picture over on my photo a day blog. But I have to say I love it - I think it's simply the best photograph I have ever taken.
But then I really love this pic that I took at the top of The Empire State Building on a day out with the very talented Jay. which one do you prefer?

ReplyDeleteTechnically, I prefer the cat(?) drinking from a tap, as I can never get results with such a fast shutter-speed and so closeup.
However, in terms of composition and meaning, I like the all-ways-east shot.
They are both great but I love the car photo jut a little bit more. You're taking the Gallery very seriously sis!

ReplyDeleteOh, that's a tough call! I think I prefer the second one, but only because I'm a sucker for arty shots - and the colours are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteIs it a dog or a cat? My first thought was a dog??! I love the photo anyway! One of my cats will only drink from the tap, so I know how hard it is to get a good photo of it, I have yet to succeed!

ReplyDeleteDespite my love for drinking and for cats (and ergo drinking cats) I still have to cast my vote for the NYC shot. It makes me want to hold my breath.
